Battle plans with no units assigned

Very new to this game and a bit overwhelmed. I seem to have made a mess out of my battle plans. I think I have more battle plans drawn than I have armies, and some of them say No Divisions. I also have a warning about Battle Plans with No Units Assigned. How do I tell which army that battle plan with no divisions belongs to, and how do I clear it from the map, so I can see better what's going on? In addition, if I select an army, how do tell which of the many battle plans, some static and some with forward moving arrows, they are currently executing?

easy way to clear them all up if you are really in deep

just make a new army, move ALL your units to that army, and reorganize your forces to start fresh without the mess of fronts and orders

there is a trash can icon on the bottom tool bar, use it to delete orders you don't want/are empty

holding ctrl and clicking on an order will highlight the units assigned to it
