GEHA insurance- Breast Pump?

Hello mommas! I was curious if anyone with GEHA insurance has used It to get a breast pump in past pregnancies?? It says they cover the spectra S2 and medela pump in style at 100% but I'm curious if you have to buy it and they reimburse you or if they just send you one for free?! Thanks :)

Ugh I meant to say during your first trimester

Yes! I found out that during your foehn any, you can get 100 points aka dollars worth of free merch from the fsastore.com site if u take the paper to dr and have them fill out the blanks that verify u went at least once in your first trimester. You'll have to fill the insurance part out as they wont know your ID number and stuff. But between that and the biometric exam and doing the health assessment, I racked up a ton of money in free items and used it for baby stuff on the fsa site

I knew about the health rewards but didn't know it included maternity too!! Going to log in when o get home.. I like their free stuff!

Go on their site and look up health rewards. It is amazing.

Violation Reported

Omg how do you get into that!!

Violation Reported

Yeah it's bc most Feds go with blue cross but geha is cheaper with same coverage just not as known. But I have had them 3 years and love them! Geha also had health rewards for maternity and other exams and stuff and I scored about $250 in free stuff for the baby by doing that.

I know I kinda think we might be which is crazy out of all of these women. But from what I read it sounds like GEHA has pretty good maternity coverage so I'm excited for that!! :)

Violation Reported

No problem! I think we may be the only GEHA's on the page and I don't wanna leave you hanging :)

Thank you SO much for the info :)

It's great to see others with this insurance. I haven't even thought ahead about a pump. I have been busy getting on a waiting list for daycare ..

Omg start thinking about it for sure! :) with my first pregnancy I didn't even think about looking into it and ended up getting a SUPER cheap single automatic pump and was never able to build up a supply! I work 10 hour days 6 days a week, so building up a supply on my month off work would have been HUGE, I couldn't so ended up supplementing with formula anytime he was at daycare (unless he was with my best friend then she'd bring him to work so I could feed him) it's a miracle I'm STILL nursing him at 3 years old. Well a miracle or a curse I'm not sure lol!! But this time my biggest goal is to have a good pump and build up a milk stash before I go back to work!! So I hopefully won't have to supplement with formula at all! So definitely take advantage of GEHA's offer and get a good double pump!! :)
